We’re Back! This Time It’s Personal!

Posted on 18 January 2010 by Dean Soto

two guys on a bench reading agnus dailyRemember us?  We were that Catholic news source that not only broke the news, but made it up as we went along.  Well, we are back – and we are ready to take on the task of bringing you the latest and greatest news from the Catholic front!

What happened?

See, not even the mainstream Catholic media covered our situation, and you trust them on more important issues?  Basically it went like this:

Agnus Daily has always had an issue with funding.  Although it’s tight with the Vatican, the Rothchilds, the Rockefellers, and every other conspiratorial family and organization that hordes the world’s wealth – we refuse to accept any funding from them in order to maintain a completely unbiased view of current events.  We devoted our full attention to delivering  the news that you deserved, not the content that would line our pockets.  Needless to say, since we spent every waking moment on this mission, the lack of funding and/or a full-time job caught up with us.

We tried selling oranges  to raise money, but we soon realized that buying them from the grocery mart and reselling them was less profitable then we first realized – especially when most people in the store could see that we were marking up the price.  After the authorities removed us from the store premises, we knew that we needed a new way of raising money.

Long story short, we asked our moms for money.  It worked.

So now what?

Now, just sit back and relax.  We only have one article up now (including this one), but we assure you that your insatiable desire for the best Catholic news will be nourished, winnowed, and set ablaze (yes, in that order).  Better yet, subscribe to our RSS feed.  We are so web 2.0, that you can also subscribe via emailCarrier pigeon is currently being worked, but should be available soon.
